Manchester Fashion Industry - Nude Tones Event

Yesterday evening I headed into town and made my way to the extremely swish Manchester House Restaurant and Lounge where I zoomed up to level 12 to be greeted by some absolutely stunning views...

The sun was beginning to set and the skyline was lit up beautifully by the dimming orange light - it was so perfect it actually felt as if I'd jumped on a plane and jetted off on holiday somewhere instead of having just got on the 142! I probably spent more time outside staring at the scenery than I should've when everyone else was busy mingling and chatting inside, but I was pretty blown away by the view so I wanted to make the most of it. And what better way soak up these sights than with a delicious pornstar martini?

This is my 'I need some blog photos but my boyfriend thinks it's funny to make me laugh' face. Yeah, I just gave up in the end because he had me in stitches and then I basically forgot how to smile like a normal person, but there is an obligatory insta selfie showing my nude outfit if anyone's interested! (It's from Miss Selfridge and is such a steal).

Anyway, the reason I was at the Manchester House yesterday was because I'd been kindly invited by Manchester Fashion Industry to attend their Nude Tones event. The dress code was strictly nude and everyone looked incredible dressed in creams, pinks, camels and beiges...

After having time to catch up with the other lovely bloggers and enjoy a drink and a few sweeties the fashion show began, where a ton of luxurious brands were showcasing their creations. It was impossible to get a good picture with my crappy camera and the dim lighting so I've spared you the blurry messes from my multiple attempts, but everything was so glamorous and the set up was really good as the models walked right by you so you could get a good look at all the outfits.

After the fashion show had finished I headed straight home to rest my head before Monday's lectures having really enjoyed the chance to get dressed up and spend the evening in such a stunning location. Thanks so much to Manchester Fashion Industry for the invite and hopefully see you at the next event!
