Paris // 1

As some of you might know if you follow my instagram I recently got back from the most amazing trip to Paris! I went with my two best friends so obviously we had an absolute blast and took loads of pictures while we were there. I'm so excited to share our trip with you and fill you in on everything we did, but just so I get to ramble on a bit more than usual I decided to split it up into two posts!

We arrived at the airport bright and early and tucked into some tasty breakfast before excitedly hopping onto our flight. The flight only lasted an hour so we landed almost straight away and then travelled through Paris to our hotel. After checking in and freshening up we got on the metro and made our way to Notre Dame.

After visiting Notre Dame and strolling round the area we got the metro back to our hotel and found somewhere to eat before getting an early night in anticipation for our 6am alarms!

Following our early morning selfie we made our way out of the hotel to find a cute Parisian breakfast spot and ended up in this lovely café.

Waffles, crepes and fruit smoothies were on the menu, although I think more time was spent photographing the food than actually eating it! It did look very pretty though. After we'd finished - and taken a few more selfies obviously - it was time to make our way back to the metro.

Next stop - Montmartre! The home of the stunning Sacré-Cœur. This is absolutely one of my favourite areas and is seriously beautiful. It's filled with cute shops, cafes, talented portrait artists and amazing views.

Now for the long trek up...

You aren't allowed to take pictures inside the Sacré-Cœur but I can tell you now it's absolutely stunning. We sat inside for a while and it was so peaceful just being in there, I would definitely recommend going inside if you ever visit the area.

After the Sacré-Cœur we went for another wander and then found ourselves some food. Pasta for me and steak for my girls!

Then after our lovely meal we hopped back onto the metro to play tourists somewhere else... which I'll tell you all about in my next post!
