Paris // 2

Hi lovely readers! I'm back with the second instalment of my Paris posts and if I remember correctly I had just left off after enjoying a delicious lunch in Montmartre. After our meal we headed off to the metro once again to make our way to the Arc de Triomphe.

It's so beautiful from a distance but even more impressive when you go right up to it and see all the detail. The view back out over the Champs-Élysées is pretty impressive too!

We hung around in this area for quite a while, enjoying the lovely weather and making a quick visit to Sephora before travelling to our next destination - the Louvre.

I absolutely love the Louvre, it's like magic to me! I just think it's so cool how all these classic pieces of art that you see in films are in there like the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo and you can actually just go right up to the real thing! Maybe that's just me being a nerd but honestly the whole place is so beautiful. This room was my favourite...
So stunning! I could just stay in there for hours staring at all the art work it was incredible. After we'd had enough of being cultured we went back to the hotel, freshened up (after lying on our beds for like an hour) then went back out for a spot of food and wine.

It was so lovely to chat over a relaxed meal and have a few drinks to celebrate all of us graduating and turning 21 this year, though we didn't stay out too late because we had to be up early again the next day for DISNEYLAAAAAND.

Another 6am start to make sure we didn't miss the 8 o'clock bus, but the excitement was enough to keep us going!

From start to finish the whole day was so much fun and we laughed the entire time, I actually couldn't have wished for a more perfect day! All the rides were so great and the queues weren't even that long. I'm a huge fan of rollercoasters so space mountain was a definite favourite of mine but the buzz lightyear laser blast had to be a close second - it definitely brought out my competitive side.

We were absolutely pooped when got back to the centre of Paris, not helped by the fact we couldn't find the Disneyland exit, nearly missed our bus and spent the last half an hour running round like headless chickens. When we did get back we stumbled into the first food place we could find, which luckily for us turned out to be a super nice handmade burger bar. We spent the evening munching on hand cooked chips dipped in guacamole - a perfect way to spend our last night in Paris.

We had to squeeze a lot in on our last day before our flight - another early start - but it was so worth it for these views!

We couldn't miss the opportunity to visit the Eiffel Tower before we left! It was such a beautiful morning for it as well so we were so glad we made the effort to get down there early.

Unfortunately that's the last of my Paris pictures as we had to catch our flight home after that and return to reality, but I made some incredible memories with some incredible friends and had a magical time while I was there. I hope you've enjoyed the last two posts and thanks for reading!
