Sexy Mother Pucker Nudes

A couple of weeks ago I spotted the Soap and Glory Nudes collection of their Sexy Mother Pucker lipsticks and couldn't resist popping two of their shades in my basket. After a load of umming and ahhing I settled on Keep It Flesh - a very light nude that's quite natural, neither too brown nor too pink, and Nude Edition, which is slightly darker and peachy/pink toned. Both of these are satin finish, but there are mattes and high shine coats also in the range!

I was instantly drawn to the lipsticks for their sleek, gold packaging (you can always count on Soap and Glory to bring it in the packaging department), and my general attitude towards nude lipsticks anyway is that you can never have too many, so it really didn't take much persuasion for me to take these home!

Keep It Flesh became my favourite out of the two pretty quickly because I absolutely adore the kind of nude that makes you look as if you aren't wearing anything on your lips. Sounds a little bit counterproductive buying a lip product to make it look like you aren't wearing one, but it helps me achieve a sort of natural, full, semi-matte lip that I love to wear on a regular basis.

You can see from the swatches above that Keep It Flesh looks a lot more 'barely there' than the pinker Nude Edition, though the difference really is only very slight. For this satin finish formula, the lipsticks are easy to apply, fairly moisturising and have a good amount of coverage. I usually only wear matte lipsticks so it's quite hard to compare a lighter formula like this but I enjoy how you can benefit from both colour payoff and a silky moisturising product at the same time. The wear time is good but again because it's a silky formula it will wear away eventually through drinking/ eating meals etc as you would imagine.

Here you can see me wearing my favourite shade! For just £9 a pop I don't think they're too expensive - more middle of the range, so if you want a new nude to add to your stash I would definitely recommend trying at least of the shades from the Sexy Mother Pucker collection!

Has anyone else tried the Soap and Glory lipsticks? Let me know if you've got any recommendations of nudes from other brands I might like as well!
