My Experience with Salon Science Retextuluxe

When I was approached with the opportunity to try Salon Science hair products* I couldn't be more excited as hair care is always pretty high up on my priority list. I'm forever re-colouring my pink locks (pastels fade so fast!) and drying my hair out by using the blowdryer and tongs regularly, so I'm always looking for products to give it a bit of life back. If you've got a similar hair type to me - a little dry/damaged, coloured and generally in need of some TLC - or you just want your hair in an even better condition than it is now, read on!

How I Take Care of My Skin

I did a poll on twitter a little while ago to see who'd be interested in a skincare post, and due to the positive response here we are! I'm going to share my daily essentials with you, including both products and rituals, so without further ado let's get started!

1) After wearing a full face of makeup at work everyday it's vital for me that I take it all off before I go to bed - there is literally no worse feeling than waking up with flaky mascara from the day before! The easiest and fastest way for me to do this is to grab a cotton pad, soak it in this Botanics Micellar solution and just wipe away until the pad comes clean. It's soooo much more effective than face wipes, and although I do enjoy a good cleansing balm it's nice to have a less greasy, more straightforward option. AND it will only set you back £2.50... b b b bargainnn

Berlin Weekend Photo Diary and Thoughts

On this exact day in 1989, the Berlin Wall was destroyed and German citizens were regaining their lost freedom. Today in 2016, America has just given power to a man who wants to build another. I feel heavy hearted that so many years later, again on November 9th, the world could take what seems to be such a huge step backwards. After experiencing the hope and confidence of this wonderful city, it breaks my heart to know that people elsewhere in the world will be feeling the opposite right now. Don't get me wrong, I'm so excited to share my incredible weekend trip with you, but I just can't help feeling poignant about the whole thing.
