Boohoo x DOTM

When I was approached by Boohoo for their 'dress of the month' collaboration* I was a teeny bit apprehensive because the dress that they were kind enough to send me was a total surprise - I mean I know their clothes are gorgeous but there was a little part of me freaking out like omg what if it doesn't suit me. BUT, I had no need to worry at all as I was so pleasantly surprised when I open this beaut shirt dress!

The style of this dress is so perfect, it's an oversized fit with incredible big flared sleeves and is really easy to wear casually or dress up a little bit. I paired it with my fave cocoon coat and knee high boots this weekend.

Despite the wind (storm Doris is so not ideal when you're trying to take blog pics, genuinely nearly flew away at least a couple of times), I was super comfy in this outfit and I completely love the chilled I-just-rolled-out-of-bed-and-I'm-wearing-my-boyfriends-shirt kinda look of this dress. I'm thinking I'll dress it down soon with some tights and a pair of flats if I'm gonna wear it to work or something, maybe throw a jumper on top. 

I was also very kindly given this limited edition tote bag* from Swallow Bags, a company that use both fashion and photography to 'expose the underbelly of world lethargy' - pretty cool! All bags are made here in Britain and they only ever print 200 of each design, so you should definitely check them out. It's such a great size as well so I'm looking forward to carting all my stuff around in this!
